Babysitting

On Wednesday we kept out friends daughter Taylor. She is the easiest kid in the world! She is so portable. We kept her and D.O.G. while Jim and Shannon had a date night out. They just had their “wedding”/ vow renewal, and they haven’t had much time together without family in town in a while. Actually, the pups were more difficult than Taylor was. She is such a cutie!

Frederick Half- Marathon

On Sunday, I finished my second half marathon. This race was the Frederick race and it was fun to do a home town race. This one was much smaller than the Baltimore race with only 9,000 runners. Since it was in a smaller town traffic was a huge problem and I only made it to the start line 2 minutes before go time, which was unfortunate since we left an hour and a half before the race started. Not too much time to warm up and get ready. I finished and it was a lot of fun.I felt a lot better in this race than I did at Baltimore.  I definitely think I will be doing another in the fall.

Will’s Birthday Party

On Saturday we went out to Leesburg for Will’s birthday and to see my cousins, Geoff and Kathy. My cousin Suzy was also in town from Florida and she is newly engaged, so we had to see her too. Will’s birthday was at a really fun kid’s horse farm and petting zoo in Leesburg.
