C-A-P-S CAPS CAPS CAPS!!!!!

Kristy's Bragging Rights
I hate to brag, but I'm taking complete and total credit for this one:) On Tuesday, I called Jason after work, because I got tickets on stub hub, to the Capitals Flyers game for that night for $40! Not only were the tickets super cheap, but they were for the Lexus corporate box suite! Someone was trying to dump off their tickets for Tuesday night's game. Jason was so excited. We had our own 16 seat suite complete with our own personal waitress, our own bathroom, a kitchen, and leather easy chairs. We had a wonderful time and we will probably never get tickets like that again.

Pumpkin Time!!!!

The Pumpkin Professionals:)
This weekend Jason and I also decided to carve pumpkins. We know we will have tons of kids trick or treating in our neighborhood so we needed to bring our pumpkin carving A game.
Jason scooping out the yuck!
Our huge mess, since we were trying to save all of the seeds to roast them.
Almost done:)
The finished product! The finished product with the full effect. Yay for self timed pictures!

FALL FUN!!!!!

Harper's Ferry
This weekend Jason and I finally got to spend a weekend home to ourselves, without Jason having to work. We had the brilliant idea to go to Harper's Ferry to have a picnic and see the fall leaves. It was such a brilliant idea that 8 thousand other people had the same idea. We sat in traffic for a long time and we had to park miles away. The leaves were beautiful but we didn't get very far with the huge crowds.

ISAT Golf Tournament

The day after the JMU Richmond game Jason wanted to participate in the ISAT scholarship golf tournament. My dad got 2 of his golf friends to join them so they had a team. They played a captains choice round and shot a 58!!! 12 under par. They beat the 2nd place team by 8 strokes, and Jason got an eagle on a hole all by himself. They each won $50 gift certificates to the course and their team alone raised almost $400 for the scholarship. Curtis also won an extra $25 for the ball closest to the pin.
The winning team Jason, Walt, Curtis, and Paul with their medals and certificates.
The PROOF!!!!!
Jason and my dad with Charley Taylor, a Redskins hall of famer who was the celebrity sponsor for the tournament.

JMU vs. Richmond

Since Jason and I couldn't attend Homecoming this year we went to the JMU Richmond game. This was a big game for JMU since it was against the defending national champions. JMU was doing well until our first string quarterback broke his foot and was out for the second half of the game. At the end of the game JMU suffered a devastating loss when the 2nd string quarterback fumbled the ball on the 5 yard line with 50 seconds left in the game.
The fabulous JMU marching band.
Random picture of a Richmond guy...but it has a great story. Jason did his duty as JMU alumni and successfully got the entire stadium chanting this players name after he mouthed off to some JMU fans. Thanks to Jason, the whole stadium was chanting his name and he dropped 2 passes. Jason would have made you all so proud. Zane Showker field.
Jason and I tailgating...in the COLD RAIN I might add. Definitely not Jim and Debbie weather!

Kristen's Wedding

I am a little behind on my blogging. Two weekends ago, we went to Harrisonburg for another wedding. My good friend from high school, Kristen got married. They had a beautiful fall wedding in the country....really really out in the country. I got to see many old friends from high school. Jason only knew about 4 people there, but he was a trooper.
Kristen and Martin's first dance. All of the high school girls together again. Kristen and Martin
Cutting the cake. Jason and I out with some friends after the wedding.
